A good rise in water level 

A good rise in water level it was 12ft yesterday afternoon will should bring some fish in now to sporn and more rain over the weekend 

Last trip of the season

sent two days in Wales this week fishing the river towy saddy did not catch anything did see three fish jump on thursday night it was up about 4inchs than the last time it was a nice evening 

Water level rise 

there as been a good rise in water level this week. still at 5ft.2 this evening Saturday 10th September. i am back down on the 29th for a night or two.hope this rise will bring some fresh fish up  

Night on the towy

spent one Night on the river towy on monday it was lovely to be back on the river. it was a bit windy with light rain River was up a little. But it was dead only saw one fish jump in Crewil pool did not have a pull on monday night, fished again Tuseday morning with the worm. had one nice brown trout about 1 pound and lost something big i think it was a salmon or a really big sea trout

the river level is on the up so hoping it will bring some fresh fish up. i am still hoping ton be down on the Monday the 1st August for a night or two. been going throgh my tackle 

 Hoping to fish in August 

Hoping to fish the river towy in August for the first time in 3 years i can not wait i have missed not fishing  for the sea trout at night rang lance Perry of Llangadog angling LTD this morning. he told me some good news there as been some fish caught this season i will post after my trip    

3 more nights 

Sent 3 more nights on river last week after a good rise in water level. fished on Wednesday night and saw 6 fish jump before 9.00 pm did not see or hear any after it got dark.did not have a pull Thursday morning and night the same see a few fish.fished again on Friday morning lost a big fish it could have been salmon. had it on for 5-10 mins before it got off  

spent 3 nights on the river 

Spent 3 night on the river last week the river is 90% better than last year not much algae had a good take on the first night. and saw a few fish jumping at the head of crewil pool. the river as changed this year there is more of a beach at the castle drink 

 

just a month to go

just a month to go now i can not wait i am down next weekend for the day on sunday to walk the river. then i am down to fish the river on the 4th April to the 6th lets hope a few fish are about 

Just 7 weeks to go now

Just 7 weeks to go now to the start of the season on the river towy look at the webcam this morning and it is up about 5ft . It is the first good rise of the year. lets hope we have a good rise again in middle of march just before the start of the season I am down to have a look at the river  on the 9th march will post some pics from the day

Last trip of the season

Today is the last day of the salmon season on the river Severn. not a fish to be seen. it was another lovely morning but very cold -1 the season for me as been shit, not just on the river Severn all over. lets look forward to next season and lets hope for a wetter one  

A rise in water levels 

At last a rise in river levels and a fall in temp but river levels need to be about 3 to 4ft for a good flush out. lets hope the season starts here. fingers crossed could be fished the Severn on Thursday
